We divide the slice’s median asking price by the slice’s median mileage. Lower values often mean better ‘km for your money’ on paper, but odometer fraud, missing readings, and reconditioned imports can skew mileage.
How to use it
Compare within the same model and age band. Cross-segment comparisons (e.g. SUV vs hatchback) are misleading because absolute price levels differ.
